A German pilgrim in his seventies was found dead this Monday in Triacastela (a village of Lugo). The man was doing the Camino de Santiago (the way of Saint James) alone and staying in a local hostel. The owners of the establishment found the body. The medical services were notified to go to the premises, but it was not possible to do anything to save the septuagenarian, who was lying in bed.

The death was due to indications of natural causes, but the specific reason will be determined by the autopsy, for which the body was transferred to Lugo. Subsequently, his relatives will decide on a possible repatriation.
